Our Acrow Props are built from heavy-duty adjustable steel, ensuring robustness. They are finished with a green powder coat which protects against rust and corrosion. This protective coating also guards against general wear and tear, extending the product life span significantly.

These props are crafted from high-grade steel with precision engineering. The outer tube diameter measures 60.3mm, offering a solid base and enhanced strength. They also utilize roll threading technology, which increases their overall structural capacity and rigidity.

The inner tube diameter is 48.3mm, perfectly complementing the outer tube’s build. The threaded portion benefits from friction welding to the outer tube. This technique reduces overall weight without compromising the prop’s strength, making handling easier on site.

A single Acrow Prop consists of an inner and outer tube, welded securely at base plates top and bottom. It includes a collar with a handle for adjusting the height as needed. The prop is finished off with a pin that secures it firmly at the desired height, ensuring safety and stability.

All our Acrow Props are manufactured in full conformity with BS4074 standards. They are also tested to BS5507, adhering to ISO 9001:2015 quality system accreditation. This comprehensive testing guarantees the props meet all necessary health and safety requirements.

BS4074 specifies materials and dimensions for prop parts and struts. It also provides two alternative means for suitable design: adherence to specified geometrical limits or reference to minimum performance criteria. This ensures the proper construction and effectiveness of every prop.

BS5507 specifies requirements to determine the compressive strength of props. This standard helps guarantee that the props can safely carry and support loads as intended during construction work.
